This is the story of a random student and people from around the world who suddenly found themselves in the lost paradise of Siargao island. A visual journey that captures the soul of this place, setting aside the backdrop of beautiful beaches, shimmering waters, cliché instagram spots and heartfelt moments.
This film is not just an intimate glimpse into an authentic adventure—meeting strangers every single day for two months, losing myself in a country on the other side of the planet—but also a narrative that addresses travel anxiety, human connections, and many other issues that often go unspoken.
And when the film was released on YouTube in October, Les Coflocs, pioneers of travel films in France with whom I have been working for almost 2 years now, asked me if I wanted to present it at their next ApéroVoyageurs, Monthly event gathering hundreds of fabulous travel-hungry people.
